Scoring
The tournament will operate using a points system as follows:
6 points for a win
1 point for each goal up to 3
1 point for a shutout
3 points for a tie
10 points max per game
Rules
The South Carolina High School League rules pertaining to soccer will govern play in this tournament with the following exceptions:
1. All matches will be 70 mintues (two 35 minute halves) with a 5 minute halftime.
2. Home teams will wear light colors and be listed first in the schedule. Visiting teams are listed second on the schedule and will wear dark colors. Bring both sets of uniforms to each game.
3. There will be no overtimes due to time constraints. These matches will be recorded as ties. The only exception is the championship game which if tied after regulation, SCHSL overtime (two fives/PKs) will be followed.
4. Any player disqualified from a match must sit out the next match.
5. Forfeits will be scored 1-0 with the winning team receiving 8 points.
6. If tied for 1st/2nd - head to head, goals against, goals for, goal differential, coin flip
